Hello,
I just moved into a 1920's house and I want to lay laminate flooring.
Today I removed the carpets and realised that there are lots of boards (I don´t know what they are, they look like cardboard/playwood and break easily if you pull them) around the room and I am pretty sure that the rest of the house will have them too.
I removed one by the door to see if there was something wrong underneath but the floorboard looked fine.
Now I have no idea if I should go ahead and removed them all or just lay the floor on them (of course I will use an underlay)
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
