wiring a system with 2 heating zones and 1 dhw zone valves

i have just installed a vaillant ecotec plus 637 and a megaflo unvented indirect cylinder, model 250i. the system has 2 heating zone valves for up stairs and down stairs and a dhw zone valve. i also have 2 room stat a wired honeywell t6360 for up stairs and a wireless honeywell hc60ng for down stairs. the boiler has it's own built in programmer and the megaflow has it's immersion heater. i have no seperate isolation switch near the junction box just a feed cable coming from the fuse box. i have the boiler running from a temporary supply at the moment and all the zone vavles manually open. basically i need to know how to wire it up, i only have a 3 core cable coming from the up stairs room stat and wonder do i connect striaght to the boiler from the fuse box and then back to the junction box because of the built in programmer and what should go where in the junction box. all the zone vales are honeywell 2 ports with 5 cables. i'm stuck and really need to finish this job any advise would be really helpful, also what do i do about the wiring to the megaflo with regards to the immersion? please help

Suggest you get a sparks to wire it ....... Also are you using a 3 channel clock

The HC60NG is just the receiver, which control unit do you have?

The boiler and all associated components, must be fed from a single supply, either via a fused spur or an un-switch 13A socket.

I need to know how to wire it up

The basic principle is that the thermostats open the appropriate valve and the auxiliary switch in the valve turns the boiler on. Here is the standard wiring diagram for the S Plan Plus:

Hence why I suggested he gets a sparke to wire it ........... My rule of thumb on here seems to be going towards if you have to ask get someone else to do it ... Also if the boiler is in Kitchen/bathroom it has to be wired by a sparks ... I think!!

i'm stuck

Sorry to rub it in, but you are installing boilers but don't know how to wire an S-Plan ?
S-Plan has been around for as long as I can recall having an interest in electrics, wiring diagrams for it are readily found, and they are easy to understand (unlike Y plan which needs a bit of thought to understand). My personal opinion is that if you have to ask how to wire it, then you are not competent to be doing so - even when you'd figured it out, I can't help thinking you still won't have the knowledge/skills/equipment to properly test it.
Also, this is notifiable work regardless of location, do you have the appropriate defined scope qualification to self notify the electrical work ?

As a hint (and the diagram above isn't actually that well laid out for understanding how it works):

On each valve you have an orange and a grey wire. Parallel all the greys, and parallel all the oranges, and wire these across your boiler run terminals (or from live to the boiler run terminal as appropriate). When any valve opens (whether electrically or manually), it closes a switch which connects orange and grey, and this then makes the boiler run.
If the boiler doesn't control the pump, then the pump is wired to these switch connections as well.

For each valve, you have a channel on a time switch/programmer, that feeds via a thermostat (room or cylinder as appropriate), and powers the motor in the valve. Programmer and stat both on - motor winds the valve open, switch closes, boiler runs, zone gets hot. Programmer or stat turns off - spring pulls the valve shut, switch opens, and if no other valve is open, the boiler shuts down.
You can have as many zones as you want - just keep adding addition programmer channels, stats, and 2 port valves.

When people ask stuff about gas and Installing boilers (GSR) etc etc do you tell them how to do it .......... What I was making the point about is that there is DIY .... changing taps, my radiator needs bleeding, my boiler has no pressure and there is DIY work that if you have to ask the question then your clearly not competent/qualified
By all means ask these questins in the CC room but if your happy to answer questions that could have an impact on your work and other guys that have had to get the qualifications to do this work then feel free
Im sure you would be over the moon if electricians where offering out advice on installing boilers and the gsr regs!!

So what sherbert means is as we're in the worse recession known to man, and most of the citizens has no spare money. if the boiler breaks down and you can't afford an RGi, tuff, you'll have to freeze, as asking question on a diy forum is not allowed.

Perhaps next time the old dears boiler breaks down and he wants £6-700 quid to fix it, he will consider how she is supposed to pay, skint is skint, next time you have to sit at home with no work, think perhaps it's something to do with the £84.00 an hour you charge.

If this was somebody thats skint they seem to have rather high end choice in heating equipment for there 2up/2 down hovel that they are struggling with paying the rent whilst trying to feed there children

As I have said ....... I have no issues with people being given answers to DIY work that they are allowed to do .......... what I do have issues with is the fact that I have to pay quite a lot of money to be qualified legally to do my work and have to have these qualifications before I can even try to get some work so why should someone be allowed to do this work and potentially kill themselves or somebody else ( thats why the law is there)
