F*ck you, Uncle Sam...

Yep, and no doubt Abu Hamza and his cronies shouldn't have been extradited either.
Under the same Human rights issues, probably not - the USA doesn't exactly have a great track record...

And definately not Babar Ahmed...

An asperger's sufferer accused of computer crimes...ring any bells?

Of course the timing of this decision had nothing to do with their cases of course...

Remember, Gary McKinnon wasn't diagnosed, until several years after he'd admitted hacking into computers. (much the same with his depression) What I don't understand with all this though,,,, If you manage to hack into a secure computer system (owned by the US Govt) ,,, why leave files on it that can bloody identify you? Not exactly the brightest firework in the box is he?

(if you can't do the time,,, don't do the crime)

If it's a crime to hack into another governments computer system why the fook is america doing it all the time

Got to admit TM's just gone up in my estimation this week.

But Labour former home secretary Alan Johnson criticised the decision

Write to your local labour representative and tell them what utter ****ing scum they are.

Whatever you think of Mckinnon, and his crime, a potential sentence of 60 years was a ****ing joke and nothing but vindictiveness of an embarrassed US establishment, an establishment that would no way in hell extradite a US citizen to the UK.

Bit hard to find a Jury to travel into Cyberspace to judge the accusations.
But not so hard to find where the person was when 'said crime' took place...

Or are you just 'cyber illiterate'?...

Actually on second thoughts you've already answered that yourself...

If your claim is true I'd expect you to know what 'evidence' is, but you haven't got a clue. So why is that?

If someone hacks a computer on the other side of the world, surely the crime of hacking occurred in THAT country not the hackers.

It wouldn't be a crime of hacking until the 'victim' was successfully hacked. Therefore the completed offence happened over there.

I know what I mean, If no one else does :D

instead of jailing him,BLOODY EMPLOY HIM as he has found a serious breach in your security web system.use his knowledge to your advantage.
can never work that 1 out.

Didnt May sugest his "human rights" would be infrigned because he migth commit suiside?

Isnt that just a 'gett out of jail free card' to evry other wrongduer?

What if the dastardly deed is committed using a telnet session?
