I feel embarrased from a council estate watching that.
i am sure some will pick up on the 50" plasma before taking the time to see the mother was in a high powered job that paid for all the luxuries before being on benefits
a high percentage on benefits dont want to be there and wont claim all they are entitled to because they simply dont know what they are entitled to because they have never been unemployed before
others have no intention off working and know how to play the system others are unemployable because off there circumstances [physical skills wise socially not compatible]
we need to help the worthy above shirkers but please dont tar all with the same brush

big all i agree but i was listening, but i will say if you cant feed your kids cause your husband left his job to go into full time education, then sell the car the plasma the imac and the internet before going to get free food
I would say consider the implications before making such a move as leaving your job to go into full time education. Instead try doing a Home Study Course or even Night School a few nights a week. That way you still have a wage coming in as well as being able to learn.
i think we need to weigh things up here if you have been unemployed for say 1 year perhaps selling the family silver is the way to go as a way to make ends meet keeping in mind they will be worth 10p in the pound or less
if you have fallen on the system [safety net] that is in a bad mood and takes several weeks to reset its self and look after you would that be a sensible way to go ??
a system that puts you into poverty in a few weeks is not a safety net but noose around your neck
fantastic program so so true perhaps the blinkered will watch the facts and see what some have to do to survive
I missed that as i was working, i did another 12hr shift today, thats what i have to do to survive.
