If the royals ceased to exist, what difference would it make to your life? Would it make you less bitter? Who would your next target be for your resentment and possible jealousy, in the event of us becoming a republic?

If the lefty republicans got their way then they could simply transfer their grumbles and complaints to the tax RISES which would result from getting rid of a monarchy which contributes hundreds of times more to the UK economy than it costs the taxpayers.
It would remove a symbol of elitism that is the bane of this country...
If the top head rolls, who knows what else could change...
I just happen to think that I will bow down to no-one, and no-one has any right to be considered better (or worse) than me...
And I resent paying for their luxury lifestyle in the same way as most people resent MP's expenses or bankers bonuses...

How are they the bane of this country? They have no real power. Apart from socialist, republican resenment, how can you justify your statement? Blair and his mob did more damage to the UK in 13 years than the last 130 years of our monarchy, which is admired throughout the world.

Criticism is one thing, abusive, hateful and insulting comments is another. I'd have ellal bow down alright, then i'd connect with a size 10 hobnail boot.

Don't run all those commas together.
A sentence needs a verb and a noun.

Ask yourself this..
How many times do you have to 'swear allegiance' just to join everyday groups?
How many politicians would be allowed to enter parliament without an oath?
How many civil servants (police included) would not be able to take up office it they refused to swear that 'allegiance'?
I suggest you acquaint yourself with the terms of common law before you utter your b*llshit!
