Hello all
I removed a radiator from my bathroom earlier but whilst doing it the TRV cap fell of the TRV. I didn't notice it untill i filled back up the heating system and water was coming out. I manage to stop the water coming out but it is on upside down (where the 0 should be there is a 3 if i turn it to the 0 water comes out. Will this do untill tomorrow morning or will it leak??

It might be ok, but if the temperature changes it will probably leak.
Leak meaning water will pour out of there, causing extensive damage.

Solutions - fit a decorating cap (solid white plastic) instead of the TRV
or fit a 3/4 inch brass cap and washer over the end of the valve (the part which connects to the radiator).

If you don't have either of those items, remove one of the fill hoses from your washing machine and connect it between the two valves where the radiator was.

Thanks man i was thinking of the 3/4 cap or just draining it down and putting an isolation valve there just as a temp.
