commercial kitchen gas upgrade help

all am asking is for opinion and no i'm not going to even bother try doing the job myself because it seem to me there's registered gas fitters that are struggling to size a a gas pipe one guy said you wont even need upgrading just extend and add it on where as the cooker manufacturer had mentioned that check if your gas pipe is big enough.

Look on their ticket it will say commercial catering.

If it doesn't try another.

Restaurants expect to pay for their gas repairs at the same rate they pay their catering staff. In Indian restaurants thats in Rupees!

Tony

I never guess whether your trying to be funny or just a pompous knob!

Never been offered payment in anything other than sterling!
You really do frequent some strange places

If what is?

R5 isn't the size.

On the meter it will say cubic meters or something along the lines of u6, U16, u25.

Hahahahaha...no

That's a u6 an pointless for what you need.

Before anythings done you need to contact your supplier and upgrade!

Hi there,

I've a bit of an obvious question but it doesn't seem to have been covered by the various comments so far.

What is actually there at the moment? From what I've seen, you have a takeaway with 200KW of appliances, no safety equipement and all hanging off a U6 meter.

Has the place been ID'd or something? Has the owner been issued with some sort of HSE warning or equivalent?
