But lately something bas does when posting is making the posts so wide there hard work to follow

No, it's not just you. You may have noticed that I raised this with him a few weeks ago, and he promised to address the problem. ISTR that he hadn't been aware of the problem as most of us see it, since he was viewing the forum using a very high resolution screen.

Sorry about that.

But it was only one post (now fixed) - I think that to say that lately I'm doing something to make posts too wide is a bit of an exaggeration...
 
I wouldn't have said that 1900 x 1200 was very high resolution. My laptop can do that..
Fair comment - but I'm sure that many of us are, at least sometimes, viewing the forum on laptops, and I'm also sure I'm not alone in having one with a fairly modest screen by today's standards (1280 x 800 in my case).

On other forums the forum software auto reduces over wide pictures. Think it time this forum did some thing to stop the problem not really down to users but forum design.
Agreed. The software could perhaps usefully also 'cap' the font size - which would deal with another annoyance we sometimes suffer :-)
