Sockets - Outboard switchs, why?

Out board switches have the advantage that accidental operation of the wrong switch is not possible.
Which do you like the look of the most?
Ahh, fair point i guess, if its for critical stuff.
The ones that are half the price of the other, and have the connections on the back towards the center not one at each end! But just curious.

Normally find them installed for people with reaching difficulties or that are less tactile.
So they don't accidentally de-energise or energise an appliance, whilst operating the opposite switch for outlet.
The MK sockets with outboard rockers have two earth terminals, and can be used on circuits with high integrity earthing.
