Hi guys,
I am about to start fitting a kitchen, I am just wondering, do I need to get a biscuit jointer to join the joints together or not?

If I do, can you recomend a decent chearful one that is quite cheap? I would only use it for a few jobs, so dont want an expensive one,

thanks

You need a router to joint laminate work tops, can also be used to cut slots for biscuits.

can be false economy to buy cheap
the biscuits hold the surfaces level cheap ones can be a fraction out holding the surfaces uneven

years back i bought a cheap 'ferm' from screwfix, its still going but has been retired to the garage but it was spot on.
if you have a router you can buy biscuit bits for it.
