Found this in a customers kitchen this week.

We have them dotted around the older parts of our buildings at work, most are unused but I've seen some used as the power source for various things....wall mounted powered speakers, data projector, wall mounted tv, the one in our office gets used for the Christmas tree lights lol!
 
Onlylast week got called to a pub for 1 walllight not working, manager said about when the other one went, it was the fuse above, which sounded a bit odd.
Turned out there were pyro fed besa boxes hidden on top of the picture rail and each fitted with round besa type clockpoints with internal fuses.
They were plugtop size fuses, however i always thought they were 20mm fuses for some reason
 
The very earliest ones (with no earth I seem to recall) came supplied with 1a BS646 fuses, the later ones with 2a BS1362.
