Well folks, it's that time of the week again!

This week we have a TP&N cutout.
Sorry about the picture. I had to use my phone again

TP&N?, is it Three phase and neutral ?.

you have some great weekly pics RF, only problem is us plumbers dont have a clue.

I guess the picture shows terrible attempts ?.

But basically yes.

TP&N = Triple pole & Neutral which is a 3 phase supply with a neutral

a TP supply is a 3 phase supply without a neutral

There is something not right with the photo, but I'll see who spots it before I reveal all.

insulation burned off that stranded cable? or is it unravelled SWA armour being used as earth?

cables to earth block look curiously large - is it a home-made TNC-S?

there appear to be 5 fuses/links which is one more than usual
the right-hand one looks like Neutral, but I can only see Line coming out of the middle fuse.

I can't see an incoming cable, where is it?

It is very difficult to see in the pic because of the poor quality.

There looks to be a fourth henley fuse on the far left which is either supplying or is a feed from a split concentric cable. You can see the concentric blacks going up and around to the neutral, and the earths, which looked sleeved or lugged to a cable, connecting to the sheath of the supply, which enters far right.

someones strapped the earth from the split con onto the sheath of the incomer, cant tell where the neutrals go

is that a PME as in a DIYPME and unfused?

also there is five cutouts so something not right there and only single phase coming out of it.

just wish i was there, would be so much easier

Thats about it.

It's a TP head in a commercial premisis, although only 1 phase is in use.

There is then an additional fuse taken from the head which supplies a flat adjacent to the shop.

This is wired in a split con cable which is badly terminated into the head.
The earth is in a bit of black sleeving, which connects to the incommer cable. The earth for the TP install is a DI black 16.0mm² cable sweated onto the incommer.

Rough gits
