Got some PVC channel to cover the wiring. It's splitting when I put nails in. Does anyone make PVC channel that does not split? Thanks.
Is there a reason you feel the need to use them in the first place?Got some PVC channel to cover the wiring. It's splitting when I put nails in. Does anyone make PVC channel that does not split? Thanks.
I am on the first of three rewires and not a piece of this infernal stuff to be found. Just clip it direct to the brickwork and plaster over it.I'm just putting in an intermediate switch for a lamp circuit. Wire runs from ceiling area, straight down the wall to the switch position. Then, plastered when done. I though all wiring in houses required a cover?

Best drill some holes in it first.
It does - but it's even easier not to use the stuff in the first place!+1 for drilling it first - makes it much easier!
