I agree that a hard right government and forced repatriation is very unlikely to happen in this country - it just 'wouldn't be cricket'(!) - but is more likely to happen in France, for example, where they are much more willing to stand up for themselves.
That sounds quite a scenario. People moving around Europe (and the world?) in order to avoid oppressive regimes. The last time that happened was when the Jews attempted to escape Nazi persecution. People deserting their homeland in order to avoid religious subjugation seems rather far fetched but, in the long term, who knows?

The union is only politicians. Politicians got us into this predicament. They can only see short term and work only towards the next election.
Have to agree with JBR that the French seem more willing to tackle things head on. That's why they are getting the riots, because some are obviously rattled. Our government just appease, putting the problem further down the line. Doing this is worse, as it will be more difficult to tackle as it is allowed to continue longer. Nip it in the bud, and establish the ground rules from the outset.
I can't see where the French are doing anymore than our lot. They passed a law banning the burqa and the police largely ignore. That will show them.
Whose rioting on their streets? To me it looks like Africans and Arabs.
Whose blocking the streets for Friday prayers while the police stand back and watch.
There is not a single country in Europe where the government is prepared to do anything about the mass immigration we've seen the last twenty years. And why not? because we are all too busy looking after ourselves and not each other so they can safely ignore us. And of course the consequences will not be theirs to live with.

I'm sure you're right. Perhaps the people will do something if the governments don't.
I've always been against the concept of the EU as a political union (rather than the economic free state that it started out as), but if I was assured that the EU as a whole would do something about the muslim take-over problem, I'd vote to stay in.
Unfortunately, I get the impression that the rest of Europe see Britain as a dumping ground for undesirables. We seem quite unable to prevent anyone who wants to do so coming here, which is rather strange as we are an island after all. At the same time, the EU dish out pamphlets giving useful advice not only how to get in but also how to claim benefits once here.

I think we here in England understand what unions are about and what a mess we are in without them. We know they can work as France and Germany proves. Being distanced by currency transfer on every transfer is a form of added tax. We have been bombarded with endless rabbit that low wages are a necessity to compete in the world market. Makes no diff to the Germans does it.The truth is if you don't make anything that anyone wants it doesn't matter who makes at what cost. This is also compounded by a Gov who insists foreign business is the way out. This is a ridiculous assumption and dangerous. The only interest shown here is only from the east as a port for europe. What if europe don't want or like this ? The other problem is , if any business is attracted here they have to look at the workforce available. If I was one with business in mind the last thing I want is a bunch of trouble makers ,terrorists or I want every right and some as a pool to pick from. The enemy within has set this country back for atleast 50yrs, not only a set back also preventing a progression, which afterall is the way most of us think as being natural. Desperate times call for desperate measures . This problem won't go away and increases every year, who breed like vermin, who can't pay for them. Self control is not in them, mustn't drink or gamble, yeah sure. Religion is just an excuse , it's in there blood, Trouble makers
