Cooker Switch

I've just found out that I need to replace my built-in single oven!!!

When I replace it, do I keep the cooker switch on all the time or switch it off after each use???
For the past year, I've been turning off the switch after using my oven - should I have kept it on????

I'm a novice when it comes to electric ovens - always had gas ones in the past!!!!! lol!!!!

Please help??!!!!

Leave it on - not least because the clock will go off.

Leave it on - not least because the clock will go off.

And when the clock goes off, (normally) you won't be able to use the oven until it is reset.

And more importantly there is a fan inside which cools the oven after you have used it. Turning off the isolator stops this fan doing the important job it is designed to do..
