Issue with rad trv

It cannot go any further back either
That was the first thing I tried

Have you tried setting the TRV to its lowest number? This may increase the gap between head and W/M.

I would remove the TRV, rotate through 90 degrees so the head is vertical, and then replace.

No I haven't tried that I'll give it a go see if it helps

The plan is definitely to turn it around so its vertical

Try taking the head off the trv first, it might give you enough play.

Drain down and remove the trv, then refit to the other end of the radiator?

Andy

That is what I think I will prob have to do

I've just tried turning the valve off and wiggling the rad to the right as much as I can but still not enough to get washer out

The trv is a mistral any idea how to get the head off as that may give enough play to get the damn machine out

Unscrew the black plastic ring:

Take care when twisting the head off not to damage the plastic locating lugs on the head otherwise it may not lock in place when replaced, therefore may not work properly.

And I said that :)

Dam it

Trv head comes of lovely plenty of room to get washer out

BUT the bloody drain valve is in the way!!

Grr
Really didn't want to have to cut and re solder pipes and drain the system but looks like I may have to
