.pages in windows

Hello!

I send a word document to a client who has sent it back in a format that i cannot open.

It is named: foldername.pages.zip
Contents:
/__MACOSX
/foldername.pages

In foldername.pages is:
/Data
/Metadata
index.zip
preview.jpg
preview-micro.jpg
preview-web.jpg

NOTE: I have been all over the internet and this is not just one file with the extension of .pages which you can change to .zip and open.

It is a .zip with the above contents.

How do i read the word document that I originally sent!?

Even if you unzip the zipped file (using something like 7-Zip is a good way), as far as I know, you still would not be able to open an Apple Pages document (.pages) in Microsoft Word.

Get your client to resend the document in .doc or .docx format.

Surely you have the original file saved somewhere, from before you sent it to your client?
