Help - garage door

Hi I don't know if this has been posted before.

Just moving in to a new property and the garage door had no key.

I opened it up and removed the barrel to get a replacement and then disaster the garage door was closed and is now locked shut.

How do I get in to fix ?

Drill a little hole in the door then use a long piece of something (I used a long drill bit) to push the cable that release the catches. Simples.

Or get in a specialist. I don't know where you live, but I can recommend an excellent chap in the Manchester area.

This was a ball-ache but got it sorted now.
I pulled the cover away from the brick exposing a small gap and got my young daughter to reach her skinny arms through the gap and release the locking mechanism at the sides. Surprised myself that it actually worked
