Chav, physics is not taught in quick Gas courses from the Dole. So don't go down there, you will have trouble.2004 our first one went in. Started with Grundfos, moved to Wilo. No material change in reliability.
Harrison physics and chemistry determine the output of a boiler you idiot. Any 38kw boiler will output 16 litres. Ffs the Q60s does 25 give or take.
The Vokera SE is one and superb. But the Modena and its 16 litre per minute job is a one off in 4 pipe combis. No one makes an equivalent.Odd how Vokera who probably made more four pipe boilers than Ferrolli seem to have been forgotten about in this discussion!
Just for you John. Both boilers actually have 5 moving parts. But only advertise 4. The 5th moving part is different in each boiler tho.
The clues is that Intergas only go up to 13 litres/min. Ferroli are the only company making a 4 pipe combi (4 moving parts) over 13/14 lires/min. Will you wee yourself some more now. The world does not consist only of Intergas and more Intergas.Of course Intergas don't have a 16 litre boiler. They stop at 36kw
There's a clue in there somewhere
OK a flow switch would need a moving part, a switch. Although solid state pressure sensors and a venturi detecting changes of pressure when a tap opens can eliminate that as well, but more expense and two pressure sensors may be needed to detect the pressure change quickly and the item may be bulkier than a simple flow switch. A gas valve can have just one, the solenoid using a variable speed fan burner. 3 so far. Then the pump makes 4. 5 may be the high limit cut out, although this can be a solid state sensor. So 4 it can be, and 3 if if they really wanted to reduce the moving parts.Just for you John. Both boilers actually have 5 moving parts. But only advertise 4. The 5th moving part is different in each boiler tho.
"only 4 moving parts" may apply to the large bits liks fans and pumps but ignores the many small parts inside larger non moving items like gas valves, rmicro switches etc etc
One micro switch will contribute at least 3 moving parts. How many moving parts in the gas valve ? If there were no moving parts in a gas valve it would never go wrong. or ever need replacing ( unless clogged by contaminates in the gas flowing through it )
I am not sure if they did.Did somebody say ferrolli/decent/commercial.
