I assume it has worked before and you are not new to the house as some buttons push in to lock and are supposed to pop out when the key is turned, if so light tapping with the key in both positions might help.

Before you do, It may be worth giving your installer a call. Although generally the moving parts are only guaranteed for 1 year some company's will still do it free of charge to keep customers happy and keep them coming back for future work.
Its basically just a little black plastic wedge shaped bit at the back of the handle. You may be able to push it with a scraper or if not just grab the handle with 2 hands, Push the button as hard at you can and just force it open.
