Another Hive install thread - Vaillant EcoTek +825

Sorry to put another Hive install thread here, but although it's obvious where the live and neutral go, I'm having difficulty identifying where the other two need to be connected. I've Googled the hell out of it, but I think the 825 being fairly new doesn't help things. Help would be extremely appreciated.

Yes. Had it fitted Monday, but only just got my Hive.

No, there's no timer control on it ATM

Link live and 1 in the hive receiver and 3 goes to RT in the boiler

And remove the link in 24V RT otherwise the heating won't turn off.

Thanks for your help, but I'm not sure I understand this correctly. Just link the L to 1 inside the hive receiver or link live from the boiler to L and 1 in the receiver? Does neutral need to be connected?

Just for others trying to install the hive to a new ecotec plus 825. or new vaillant wiring boards
Follow the steps on this post. worked for me
