Looking to wire up an extractor fan to an isolation switch. Im going to wire it from the bathroom light which only has a neutral, switched live and earth so will need to pull a permanant live off a different room rose. Can someone advise how to wire

Find out where the live to the bathroom light comes from, and pick it up from there, and take the switched live from the bathroom light - take the neutral from either, but an earth isn't normally used in an extractor, because it's plastic.

The switch doesn't say load and supply, so you can put the wires in either way round, Neutral to L3, and say Live to L1, and switched live to L2. On the fan, Live to L, and switched live to LT

Make sure it's from the same circuit though.

Do i need to earth the switch as i only have 3 core in place or do i need to lace a new wire?

All cables for fixed wiring should have an earth (Cpc) included.
It is not acceptable to use the unsheathed earth conductor for anything but earth.
Look in the WIKI for a full diagram on how to wire the fan.

Unless your lighting circuit loops through the switches there will be JBs with the terminals you need to connect your 3C+E for the fan.

Best practice to power a timed fan is to use 3 core and earth cable, and try to pick up the supply all from the same point.

In your case there will be a junction box where you can obtain this - or if not, as said, the switch may be the answer.

There will of course be a permanent live at the bathroom switch, if you insist on doing it how you originally said.

Confusing myself now! And cant sort my head out. I have a junction box which seems to be a linker from replacing a pull chord switch to a rocker switch. Their are no other boxes i can locate. I cant take directly off the bathroom spotlights as they are in sealed units.
So the bedroom to either side has the attached pic roses. And the switch is as shown??!20160428_184141-320x180.jpg20160501_170633-480x853.jpg20160501_171011-480x853.jpg
