Fitting CCTV cameras on my property

Hi folks

There has been a spate of robberies in my area and I have been thinking of fitting CCTV cameras (or similar) around my property, to prevent any possible break-ins.

Could someone be kind enough to advice what type of camera I could fit, which is reasonable priced and easy to fit?

Cameras won't deter them at all. They just wear a hoodie.

A 130 decibel klaxon is a better option.

It depends on how much you want to spend, whether you want to view them remotely, want to have continuous recording, want hard wired vs wireless, etc... Most CCTV cams these days are IP cams though.

Easy to install and setup. Can be viewed on ipad/iphone/android/computer remotely. Image is good and no issues so far.

Being POE (power over ethernet) it is 1 cable to camera from the NVR all provided in the kit can't really go wrong.

CCTV will put of the opportunist thief. Might even get a few quid off your insurance. Have a word with you insurance provider.
