Short composite doors?

Hi guys

Anyone know of any companys that make composite doors shorter than 1950mm?
Both of my main suppliers Doorstop and Solidor its around 1950mm min with cill and low ali thresh.

Seems a bit silly they cant do smaller and I have had a few recently that needed it, Current one I would like to price is 1900mm.

try Force8 , they will make them smaller , but will cost more and have no guarantee!

Problem is all the ' slabs ' are the same size and you aren't supposed to cut within the slabs ' outer compressed wood ' .....Its an issue we face all the time and is incredibly annoying! If you are prepared to cut yourself it is possible to make a smaller door ...trust me

Who's slabs do you use, I'm assuming you buy them in?

We buy our comp doors in Crank....use Doorstop and Truedor ... then Force8 for the small ones ( or sometimes cut frame and slab if force8 price is too high , if you gonna have no warranty anyway might as well do it yourself and pay less for it...just need to be aware of water getting to the foam )
Saying that i know Truedor are going to start making their own slabs ( or so the rep told me! ) and there is a possibility they may do smaller slabs in the near future....as they are having a custom made factory built

I'll ask my supplier tomorrow, they're eurocell dealers but buy slabs in from distinction, cnc them themselves and put them in eurocell outer frames, so you need 1900 frame size inc cill?

You would think with Solidor having a full hardwood slab anyway it wouldnt be a problem

1980 on ali cill, can go further into the reinforcing to gel 1900 but then can't guarantee

Thats interesting DH frames ... do they still guarantee them at those sizes?

Done one at 1895, low Ali on a sill, was maximum width as well.
All guaranteed have had no call backs in 3+ yrs

I have spoken to someone at Rockdoor and some of theirs go down as low as 1722mm.

Also after pointing out to my Solidor supplier that its that its silly they cannot go smaller as they don't have the foam issues of other makes he thinks he may be able to do it with a different locking system, So he will get back to me.

Never used Aztec before but have contacted them few times about a couple of jobs, Michael is very helpful

Cool. Maybe my Solidor guy saw the same blog and thats why he said about another locking system.
I'm also really liking the Chartwell green with the black frame, I'm going to have to do one of those!

He quoted for 60 bin store doors for us, 900x1000. Even that he come up with a lockable key access.
