I always get really frustrated when I have to do something and my cheap £2 Lidl crap Pliers wrench just makes my life really hard by not being able to do a task because the bastards just keep poping out of the position, it's impossible to adjust them without completetly messing up and its a strugle to even use them.. I'm sure everyone already knows what I'm talking about :(
I'm just a DIY not everyday plumber, but need them from time to time, but I'm really sick of the cheap garbage ones :(
I don't really want to spend more than £20 for one If I have to, I saw some cool Knipex ones which had a push-button style adjustment and those looked really cool but they were eye watering expensive at £50 so I can't really justify them. I would ideally want something which has push-button style adjustment as well, or any other system that makes them easy to use and they stay in the position that I want not wiggle around.

thanks, pic for reference

You get what you pay for - good tools aren't cheap and cheap tools aren't good

Thanks Jim, I ended up wasting probably an hour watching some YT videos about these and ended up ordering those cobras from the link you gave me,
The top players in this market seems are knipex/irwin/bahco , the knipex seems like are the best out of all, the bahco seems ok, but the design of them didn't seemed ok to me, and the irwin ones... well I wanted to order those at first, but than I saw some videos where they compared knipex vs irwin and it was no competition there :) So knipex at £18.99 it was.
cheers.

Bacho have 3 different adjusting designs in their slip joint pliers and 24 models.
I have a few of these and can't fault them....

Seven different models in that type alone. Quick adjustment for opening and closing it just ratchets even faster.
No need to open out the handle like the channel types or press a botton.

These are Gedore pump pliers which cost £80 and offer a different design.....

Without question Knipex Cobra Water Pump pliers are the best!!
I've been a Tradesman a long time & been using them the last few years, they're the best & the first tool out the toolbox by the more decerning artisan Tradesmen.
