Did anyone have a bet? How did you do? My other half actually studied a bit of form and romped home with a well deserved £50 odd note profit. Numb nuts here however blindly picked any old nag and lost his shirt.
Me and my better half, backed 4 of the first five home. Fortunately bet with bookies paying out for first five home, regrettably saint are, stopped me having the tri-cast up.
Pedigree Chum lost out this year all 40 runners ended up safe and sound. !!
Backed four nags (one for each family member) and never heard a peep from any of them once they were off.

oh get in you beauty ...tiger roll. Bet placed on no 13 on the 13th...

When I was about 12yrs old, I chose a list of 1-5 horses for the Grand National and was chuffed to bits when I got them all in the correct order of finish. My dad was somewhat miffed however as I only showed him my list after the race.
