Need help locating this lock latch

I need to replace the lock latch in the pictures attached but strugggling to find it online.

I think I can see some letters or numbers stamped into the fore-end. What do they say?

Show us the handle(s) and keyhole.

How secure a lock do you need?

The construction of your door or gate looks odd - I can see horizontal boards but no vertical styles. How is it made?

Yes, I tried googling for them, it says:

EN 12209
EURO SPEC

You will probably have to take the lock out of the door to measure and photograph the casing, and the positions of the spindle holes.

Yours looks like a deadlocking latch. I see yours takes a Eurocylinder, and the one fitted has an external key cylinder, and an internal thumbturn. These are easily obtained, you will need the length on both sides.

I see you have an electric latch release. Is this working, with a doorphone?

What's wrong with the old lock?

Yes it is working with a door phone however when we allow in using the door buzzer the door doesn't open but I can open it using the spindle from inside.

I've already replaced the other part it locks on and the door buzzer releases it properly so I figured it must be this part causing the problem.

no not that one as it looks to be opened by handle not by key

try sending your photo and all markings to the retailer.

do you suppose that the latch might be protruding too far, perhaps due to wear or the door having sagged, so not quite clearing the electric release? I wonder if you could test it with a small screwdriver, applying a bit more pressure to either of the parts to move them slightly further apart.

If hinges are loose the door lock will bind jamming the release switch.

The door/gate looks as if it needs a vertical reinforcement on the private side of the gate as one good shove would burst the lock?

A metal bar would do, or a much larger timber one

Possibly. It is a wooden door so has been impacted by weather over the years. If I jiggle the door it opens better so might suggest a problem with the door rather than the lock although a bit clueless about how to fix it. I'll try tightening the hinges suggested here...
