Gas nut loosened by bean tins?

I got called years ago and forgot to turn up was arrested at work and taken before the judge who went loopy and sentenced me to spend the day in the cells then taken back in front of him and told I was never to be called again when I thanked him I was threatened with 3months so had to apologise to him was then thrown out of court and had to walk home witch is why I have nothing but contempt for the police and the judiciary.Bob

So you hate the system because YOU forgot, and YOU were sarcy to the Judge?

Tosser.

It is a pain being called for JS, but the whole system relies upon being judge by peers. Would you rather be judged by a panel of onlly unemployed and pensioners?

I got called to JS when I was 25...it was a complete waste of time and clearly reached the wrong verdict.
The majority of my fellow jurors were so feckless/biased/stupid that I elected myself foreman to bring some resemblance of order.
The usher came close to loosing it it with some of the ridiculous questions the jurors were asking.
If there was ever a case for not using the public to decide then this was it.

Profesional juries (having intelligent balanced individuals) is the only way to go, however, with so many politicians having a law background it will never happen....there's too much to loose (financially) from the incompetence all round.

I find proving some one got things wrong is hard. I have found I have made errors too many times. For example, making a statement the terminals were not tightened up, after more faulty terminals were found it transpired that the screws were binding so although torqued down they were not tight on the cable and once they heated up and cooled down they expanded slightly so were no longer binding. OK maybe the electrician should have screwed the terminals in and out first to check they were not binding, but he had torqued the up correctly.

There are others, I remember a claim nothing wrong with the brakes on a wagon, old Bedford TK air over hydraulic, however when the brake fluid was sent of analysis it was found to contain salt and water both which could have caused the brake failure.

I expect there is nothing like this in this case. However jumping to conclusions is dangerous.

The jury system is scary...I have heard people say..who were on jury.."must be guilty...he looked a wrong un"....and "He would not be on trial if he were innocent"..FFs....endless examples

Fireman T I thanked the judge not out of sarcasim but out of good manners and having been a CSM in the ROYAL MARINES in my opinion I'm equal to most people and also very well mannered and don't go around abusing people with out just cause.

Fair enough. I probably got the wrong vibe. So I apologise for my rebuke.
