Has anyone run into an issue where the standard 150mm R9 foiled white soffit board is not large enough to cover a large arch.

I probably need 165mm to fill the arch completely.....I know this is a special foil used on R9 systems so the likelihood of another manufacturers white wood grain effect foil matching in is quite unlikely, has anyone else had this problem and did you find a good match with another manufacturer?

Its the same foil and hue of white as used on the windows. Have you fitted another board on an arch with an R9 frame?

Its a 2.3m opening so quite a big arch really, its a sod they don't do a larger board. I was just wondering if any other window fitters had run into this issue and can say.....yes eurocell xyz is a good match etc.......

Put a 45mm or 65mm trim up first, then overlap with the 150mm

I want to do it in one piece, I think any overlapping would look a little unsightly (it has been done on a neighboring property). I was hoping there was another manufacturer who had a good match of foil but in a larger size (was thinking maybe someone else has had this issue with r9 and found a match). If I cannot find one I will make a panel from wood and put a feature on it to make it look original.

Next size up would be facia
Google White Grain Facia

I've see loads online, its just whether it will be a good match. I will probably just have to drive to a few places with an offcut and make some comparisons......

Just had a delivery of R9s today and will need some trims. I will be checking the color match with some Eurocell white ash trims I have laying around in the next day or 2. Will let you know how it looks

I've just been on there site actually looking at exactly that! The only issue I see was that they only offered the white Ash in 300mm and it didn't look as though the edges were finished. They were classing it as utility board. I'll be really interested to know how the match goes.......I'll shoot down there and get some if you think its a goer....

Yes they call it utility board.
Woodgrains are usually limited sizes 100mm,300,400mm ,600mm etc but there is not much price difference. (go in store to get prices rather than the website prices!)
The edges are square finish and about 8-9mm thick so not the rounded mold of normal trims

Is the edge foiled though? Or just exposed foam?

Looks like a reasonable match from the site, but will await your comparison, yes make you right about the prices 65 quid for a length

Yes the edge is foiled.
Will hopefully get a chance to check the color match today as I have a Eurocell delivery tomorrow and I need to order some too if it match's

Its not a great match.
Eurocell is slightly yellow when viewed at some angles
