will of the people

Was it the 'will of all the people'? Or only the will of those who voted? How do you know the 'will of those who didn't vote'?

I would assume 'of the people' should include all of the people otherwise it can't be the collective 'will of the people'.

Who said it would be easy?

I don't know anyone who voted out that thought it would be easy.
Quitters have short memories...

yet more shameless fiction from notch

is there no end to his deceit?

no, there isn't.

Didnt George Osborne say something about an emergency budget........
And Gideon was right...

Or do you not consider the £250bn made available to stop the pound falling even further an emergency measure?

Dress it up any way you like...

But quitters won't ever accept that they are inherently stupid!

No answer....

Because you know it is true, you wouldn't care how remain would have campaigned if they had won, but as they didn't you only have moral high ground to cling to (y)

I disagree, the ones who are responsible ,are those that signed us up in to a political union without a referendum.

Yet again you think that people would be informed and intelligent enough to hold such a referndum. Were we not better off by being in the EU ?

Why do we have MP's if we have referendum. I vote for an MP to make decisions affecting the country on behalf of us all. He happens to hold the wrong views in my opinion, but it is he who is my MP. I should be able to make him respobsible, but I can't on this 1. I hold those that voted us out fully responsible!

But didn't you vote for/against the various treaties at general elections?

It's funny how the 'parliamentary democracy' that quitters are apparently so eager to 'get back to' to run/ruin our lives is only appropriate when convenient!

Article 50 was voted for under parliamentary democracy. It was the will of the MPs (y)

Actually the majority of MP's were against leaving...

They were just looking after themselves with the article 50 vote!

So can you tell us how many of those MP's were elected by a majority vote?

Is FPTP the 'will of the people?
