Browsing Amazon for some clamps, and wow WTF?

Has anyone got any personal recommendations from actual use? :cautious:o_O

Cox Solo 150P quick release cramps (6in/150mm) - from personal use and a lot of abuse:

By that I mean the originals and not the Chinese knock-offs, and even then I periodically destroy or loose the plastic pads (spares are a couple of quid). Always carry a couple in the tool box. The only problem is that they aren't the biggest capacity. For bigger stuff there's a couple of these in the van:

The 24in ones come in about £25 to £28 if you look around and are pretty good for bigger stuff. Can't help with the penile clamps, though....... Maybe when I get a bit older......

i have 14 6" solo clamps i had 4 and thanks to j&k perhaps 7 or 8 years ago pointed me towards axminster then doing 10 for little more that £5 a clamp
i have several silverline and similar 6" clamps
i also have 4bxd 4" solo clamps and perhaps 15 4" solo from lidls from perhaps 10 years ago i also have about 10 record and similar "G" clamps 8 plus inches little used now as the solo clamps are far quicker and easier to use
in total about 45 -50 including sash clamps as you can never have enough clamps:D

would have thought an elastic band would be good enough and be less painful in case off excitement

i have claimed to have 45 to 50
but looking round if you include a few strap clamps and a couple off six foot t clamps as well as assorted rolson cheap carp with and some timber compatable head clamps probably nearer 70 which seems madness but the flexibility and choice means you use the best for the job and ability to choose when you have to with the carp difficult to use will mark timber chosen as a a last resort:rolleyes:
