National Competition

A friend was travelling through Birmingham the other day and saw a sign for
The National Innuendo Championship which is being held at the weekend.

He's thinking of entering his wife.

I’m going but haven’t got a ticket.

I'd think about entering myself but my ability doesn't stretch that far.

I saw the same thing, so bought a couple of tickets.
I got talking to a young lady outside, who hadn't got a ticket.
So, I gave her one.

As I was riding my bike to the competition, I nearly got sucked off by a lorry driver.

I entered a similar competition a couple of years ago, I got to the final along with a woman from Leeds.

We were hard at it for ages and she came first.
