I think hawk was not on about the ones born with a medical condition,
Intersex conditions, body dysmorphia, gender dysphoria are all medical conditions.

If you are born a male, then no amount of surgery will alter that fact, same as being born female.
So how are you gong to define "male" and "female" in that context?

I don't know - but do they not have enough to worry about without getting upset about pronouns?

I think this is probably only made a problem in the English speaking world.
In most languages everything is masculine or feminine, with no logic to determine which, and no one seems to bother about it.

For example in Portuguese, a group of men is referred to with the masculine pronouns etc. and a group of women with the feminine - naturally enough.
However, a group of mixed gender people - even if only one man - is referred to by the masculine words. If the gender, of say a cat, is not known then the masculine versions are used. Also the possessive pronouns are determined by the object possessed; not by that of the owner - his or her cat dependent on the cat; not its owner.

The people appear to manage quite well.

As humans have for millennia
So where is the point in those millennia beyond which you refuse to accept the validity of advances in medical science?

It's an important question for you to consider, as it might be the case that if you are to be true to your beliefs you might have to refuse treatment for cancer, or the use of radiology for diagnostics, or anaesthesia for surgery or dentistry, or antibiotics...

Sex is your biological characteristics and gender well is what you perceive yourself to be which is different to sexual orientation.
You might be correct, but i am not sure of those descriptions anymore...So someone with a penis,,,his sex is male, but if "he" wishes to ride in women's bike rides,,his gender is female?? Because he says he is she?... Correct??..Well fek me,,,yes,,it would appear,,,gender is whatever you want to be,,,lol..

Pretty much. Gender is fluid, it could potentially change from day to day.

It's all a bit of a joke.
