Hello,

I'm helping a neighbour with an existing installation, the wires have been ripped out of the bellbox, I've connected the siren, however I'm struggling to locate the other wires.

I've attached PCB wires to help conversion.

Would anyone be able to assist? I've connected as best I can and I receive 'bell tamper' error however tried resetting through engineers menu and it's not working, therefore I believe it's wired wrong.

Please help.

Nothing to do with bell box , type in 08 what is zone 8 set as ? Type in 00 it should go to nu not used , now exit eng mode ..

Thanks! Perfect, the only fault now is the door chime? I've changed it on the panel to OFF, and then back ON, it makes the sound but when the door open / closes it doesn't chime?

Thanks again for your help

On and off from user code.
Am I best going to zone info through installer code?

Engineer mode , what ever that zone is eg zone 1 front door , it has to have chime on the zone C normally set by pressing X1

All done! THANKS SO MUCH!!

I annoyed the other neighbours though, forgot to set the entry and exit routes and had the alarm going full pelt twice!!

Let me know how I can repay the favour, thanks again.

Thanks so much for your previous help!

However, the only thing not working is the B setting, put code in, press B = Zone Fault 2 and the alarm makes a loud horn noise.

It's fine when it's set in A setting.

Any clues? I have Zone 2 as 'ER abcd' | Zone 2 is the PIR setting to be activated when coming down the stairs.

Would I be OK to have both Final Exits? (Door contacts and PIR?)

Sounds like area B may be instant set , thus not giving you time to exit..
The neighbour stated before I touched the alarm, the 'B' was used for Bed.

Code, press B = 10 second countdown to run up the stairs and get their head down.
It must be a misconfiguration on the zones, what does the b typically mean on the zone?

Would I be correct in saying Zone 2 should not have B mode, and other zones should be configured for B?

Or is this the wrong way around?

Thanks
