Tusk is wrong to blame Leavers because true Leavers have never been given a chance to form a plan.
When Cameron resigned, it was assumed the Tories would elect a leader who was a Leaver. As Gove and Bojo knocked each other out of the running, May was chosen as the Hacker candidate - the 'safe pair of hands.' In her subsequent Lancaster House speech, she reaffirmed that 'Brexit means Brexit' and that we would be taking back control of our laws, borders and money - her so-called red lines.
But behind the scenes, she was duplicitous. She set up DeXEU with Davis as leader, but behind his back, formed a small cabal in no. 10, including Olly Robbins and a number of Europhile civil servants and 'advisors'. They were - and are - determined that we would only Leave in name only, and would be re-admitted after the EUs' next financial round in 2025; the Withdrawal Agreement keeps us in close alignment with the EU ready for the re-admission.
So Leavers have been 100% let down by the establishment and it is clear that they planned this all along. We voted to bring back our law-making from Brussels to Westminster; we did NOT vote for MPs to give our sovereignty back to the EU, which is what the majority of MPs clearly want to do.
The only feint hope which this great nation of ours has is that we Leave by default or accident on 29th March.
