Does anyone know where I can get some 15-40mm round dense polystyrene rods from? It has to be polystyrene.

Have a look for Rexolite, Eddie.....for school use we bought it from either Bay Plastics or Goodfellows - I dont know if they still exist though!
This will cost yer.....
John :)

Why is it seemingly difficult to find, would have thought it was trivial to source?

I knew someone with a small injection-moulding business, but I'm pretty sure their feed was in granulated plastics, which they turned into whatever shape they wanted. I suppose they could have extruded rods. he used to make things for Yotties.

Sure, you can get these things custom made for £££'s but erroneously I assumed they'd be stock items, readily available, seemingly not so, it's coming from the USofA.
