Hi Folks
A friend of mine obtained his degree about 20 years ago. However, he ended up doing various no graduate level jobs.
He now wants to go back into education and wants to find out the degree classification which he gained in the early 1990s.
On the certificate, it says 'Awarded the Bachelor Of Science degree having followed an approved Honours programme'.
He is confused as to which class he achieved or whether he just passed an ordinary degree, without honours.

Can someone kindly advice?

Where else an he go to clarify this?

Thanks in advance

Ask the university it was awarded from.

I wonder why they say

"Hedd is not for use by students or graduates to verify their own awards. Please contact your university or college directly."

You / he did not complete sufficient modules / obtain sufficient credits to be awarded an Honours degree. The degree is an ordinary BSc.

Well spotted Motman.

Does this seem familiar:

Good Morning Folks

I'm sure some of you have heard the saying 'finding a job is a job in itself'.

I am working full time and looking for a new job. As you can imagine this can be very time consuming.

Has anyone outsourced this task to a virtual assistant who can look for 'unadvertised jobs'?

If so, what was the success rate?

Alternatively, do you think it would be a waste of money and I should just do it all myself?

Thanks in advance for your responses

Advice required on work related issue
ood Evening folks

I hope you're all well and a very happy new year to you all !!

Can someone kindly give advice on the issue I have at work please?

I have been working full time in the finance dept. for a private company on a permanent basis for the last 18 months, having passed their initial 3 month probation.

However, last October, a job opportunity came up in their accounts dept. and I moved into this new dept. after having a chat with my line manager and financial controller. I was put on a 3 month probation again

Ask the university it was awarded from.
I think a more appropriate route would be to ask the educational establishment, with whom he intends to continue his education, where they would classify his current educational attainments.
They are the people that matter, as to what existing educational level he has already achieved.
