Tidy Plumbing / good job?

Just wanted to get a general opinion of the quality of this plumbing job, no reason to think it is poor but there are experts on here whose opinion i would appreciate.

Who painted the pipes and why?

Not really sure you will get the replies that you want, if everything is working why are you asking, if you are looking for an excuse to not pay or reduce your payment this is the wrong site, if you are looking for praise ,definitely the wrong site, so why exactly do you post such a question ?

Looks pretty neat and tidy. Only things I don't like are the cables clipped to the pipes and the painting of the pipes (which can make maintenance more difficult).

Looks like a slightly old/cheap spec bellway home. The newer ones use preplumb cylinders.

Arguably the red-handled swing lever valve on the dhw outlet is redundant -but certainly not wrong-

what's the problem and why the question?

In response to this and the question why, i had a bad experience in the past with plumbing in another house i owned, was just looking for a view on whether this looked to be ok. Apologies if it wasted your time, was not intended to be a provocation, purely a feedback from anyone who had an opinion.

Yuck. I'll stick to my old ruins then

Looks OK...pipes need insulating, and the distance between the PRV and the tundish is pushing the limit. It you really want to nit-pick, the two zone valves above the cylinder are going to be a pain to change if they ever seize up, but on a clean system that shouldn't happen. I've certainly seen much worse
