Every article I've read, and my onsite guide, shows methods to get through floor joists in the middle of a room. However, I can't find what best practice is when running a cable through the last floor joist before reaching the brick wall, where the gap between the two is only an inch or so.
Do you drill a hole as normal, then bend the end of the cable a pit so that when you push the cable through it bends round to reach the drop?
Or is there some other approach?
Or do you use the safe zone at the top of the wall?
Or do you just never run sockets on joist-parallel walls?
Thanks all!
