Yea, I've read that before about london bridge, and I see how it could have contributed.
But ice that was thick enough to support horses and carts. In my mind that leaves the mini ice age, and what caused that? I'm sure the only certainty is that it was not man made, a reliable explanation is warranted, but the subject seems to be avoided by the climate change lobby.
