Ford said it had nowt to do with Brexit

Blame the greens and all the other environmental bell ends who are anti combustion engine

They should all be happy that car engines will no longer be made in the UK

Ford are laying off workers in Germany as well

If the nutter no-deal quitters were to get their way, yes.....

"Ford did not blame Brexit for its cost-cutting plans but has said a no-deal scenario could make matters worse. It said leaving the EU without a deal would result in costs of $500m to $1bn during 2019 alone, adding to a series of stark warnings from major car firms over potential disruption to British manufacturing."

Doesn't matter what I claim does it, does it...

Truthful posts seem to just disappear when they are the wrong type of truth ;)

    Really?

I thought 87% was greater than 83%, but I guess you learn something every day

Ireland and Austria top France in food security...
But it doesn't matter so much in the EU does it.
Because they have what we might not have soon - namely free movement of goods!

Well quitters don't understand that the UK is small and has few resources of it's own

They forget that in the past we purloined our resources from the 'empire'.
I wonder if the 'empire' countries will remember those times as fondly when it comes to trading their resources post Brexit?

I don't know where you get your figures from, because...

The IMF looked at the assets and liabilities of 31 countries and found the UK was in a worse position than every other country apart from Portugal.

"Rather than looking at each country’s debt and the deficit – a government’s income minus its expenditure – the IMF’s approach takes into account the benefit of assets such as publicly owned corporations and natural resources. These figures more closely resemble a company’s balance sheet...

The IMF’s report takes particular aim at the privatisation of public assets, the benefits of which it says are often merely an “illusion”.

Ford mentioned changing consumer demand and cost issues.

These cost issues will only exacerbate under a no Deal Brexit.

There are headwinds hitting the auto industry due to technology and changing demand, why add another issue of cost?

Go on then - complete the picture of you as someone who accepts not one single fact by saying you don't believe in anthropogenic climate change.

So what caused the Thames to freeze over for the annual frost fairs "held between 1600 and 1814, it was not uncommon for the River Thames to freeze over for up to two months at time" was that climate change?
