Why do people fall for this shoite?

History has shown over and over that politicians promise the earth but utterly fail to deliver.

History has shown over and over that politicians promise the earth but utterly fail to deliver.

To be fair it is the dilemma of democracy.

Politicians can only win elections by telling the public what they want to hear. That message is invarioubly different from what is good for the country or what the politicians want to do.

People want good public services but vote for tax cuts.

Listen to Vinty.
This is how mad politics is now

He claims power has corrupted Corbyn.

But forgets:
Johnson is not a Leaver, he just chose the path that would get him PM .....power corrupts or what

Johnson lied about proroguing parliament.....power corrupts

Gove lied about yellohammer report

Gove said government could ignore any leglislation that stopped no deal.

Rees Mogg continuously lies about WTO terms

But Corbyn is the corrupt one (n)

(And I am a huge Corbyn critic)
Corbyn has now shown that he is no better than any of the rest of them.
He will say anything to get the top job, he has betrayed millions of Labour leave supporters.
He will get what he deserves at the next election, most Labour leave supporters are in marginal constituencies.
Labour has always had a healthy tradition of Euroscepticism exemplified by Corbyn himself but not any longer.
Corbyn always got a grudging respect because he put his principles above courting popularity but he has now joined the establishment and has become just another chancer.

Wrong.

The vast majority of Labour leavers dont want a no deal Brexit.

And Labour have 9 million remain voters -Corbyn represents them.

Yet you support Johnson who is happy to stop a debate on no deal even though it has been voted against twice in parliament.

Can you seriously not see how you are wrong?

Parliament doesn't reflect the views of the majority of the electorate on the Brexit issue, if it did then Parliament would have a majority of MPs who would vote to leave the EU.

As you believe that opinion polls should carry more weight than real results, the above poll shows that a majority of constituencies both Labour and Tory voted leave in the referendum.

Notchy believes any old crap that suits him and changes like the wind..He will be right of Boris by Christmas....Left of Jezza by Easter

I support the right of 17.4 million people to have their wish to leave the EU respected ,if Johnson is the person to deliver that then that's ok.

So what.

Parliamentary democracy means MPs have a duty to represent ALL their constituents and the business sectors in that region.

That means for every 52 people, each MP must represent the 48 as well.

If an MP lives in a region where business leader say their busjness will go down the pan, the MP has a duty to campaign to stop unemployment and business risks.

There are no studies that give a positive outcome for a no deal.
So on that basis all pro Brexit MPs are traitors.

Answer the question.

Why is Corbyn a traitor if he represents the 9 million Remainers.
