Apparently 4-4.5 litres. The deal is for up to 5L.
I take your point but this is a fair bit cheaper than other garages.

suspect its to get you follow on as in "your brakes /exhaust/tyres could do with changing" etc

Got my my cars flat tyre fixed in Kwik fit once for free, they didn't even try to sell me new brakes, suspension, tyres, exhaust, re-gas the aircon, do a winter check (it was summer) Nothing at all

What car is it?
If it's an old banger, any fresh oil will do, as long as it's to manufacturer spec.
If a more modern car I would only use tried and tested decent oil and oe/oem filters.

Lukoil genesis special VN 5W-30 is a VW504.00/507.00 specification.

Its Austrian based but it could be blended elsewhere.

Oil/filter, supplied and fitted for £47 seems a good deal.

If you're worried about quality parts being fitted, suggest to National that you could supply the parts.

Mannol 7715 OEM 504/507
Quantum 5w30 LL
Smith and Allan Momentum C3 V 5W-30 (what we use at present)

Filter wise, I would go for a Hengst

Once again, we hope the oil we buy is as specified on the container!
Personally I'd trust nowt that comes out of Russia - if indeed that's where it comes from.
John :)

Do you work as a mechanic?
If so, where about are you?

No, not a pro mechanic. I look after a family fleet of 7 cars.

My comments are based on my own research which anyone can do with cyber space.

By the way, the Smith and Allan is blended in NE England.

Shame, I need a trusted mechanic to help me out with my cars now that I'm out of action for a few weeks (knee op)
