Baxi main combi 24 HE leaking diverter valve housing

Sure will do, do I need to drain the boiler to fit this part?
yes and make sure you cover the pcb housing with a plastic bag and a towel or the likes, this boiler is terrible for any water that leaks goes straight into the pcb housing, some I know actually remove the pcb before doing any work on the hydraulics, cant blame them if I am honest

Hi Ian,

Fitted the tail plate today, fired the boiler up but it is still leaking from that small hole :(

There was black crud on the spindle which i cleaned as much as possible the washer on the spindle looked fine

I'm thinking to now replace the complete Pressure Differential Assembly

What do you think?

I know it is not what you want to hear, but if you have changed the tail plate and the O ring and you are still getting water out of the spare tappings , then you have done something wrong

The only thing i can think of is that i may have over tightened the nut where the small washer sits, if so would that cause it to leak?

you have primary water and secondary water where that joint is, that joint is a dry joint , there should never be any water in there, hence the two open ports, remove the Domestic HW diaphragm side with the cold water inlet closed and leave it like that for a while , if no water leaks then you have messed up on the HW side, not really rocket science to swap the o ring but bet you have got it wrong
