When I had mothers house rewired many sockets were at 80 mm so could reach them over the furniture.
There are no regulations regarding socket and switch heights. It's your house.I have decided to have them set at current regs.
Are you confusing heights of switches with so-called safe zones - for concealed cables with no accessory to show their position?Would entering the property be considered a corner?
For light switches I have gone with 150mm from architrave. But would I have to fit it at 350mm for switch at front enterance if considered a corner?

Either way - 350mm.
Not talking about safe zones. Do switches and sockets have to be 350mm from a corner with current regs? I am going to have it wired with current regs. Thinking about it I prefer the heights of the switches and sockets.
There are no "current regs" regarding switch positions as EFLimpedence said, It's your house.
