Heard a strange noise from the en-suite during the night (like a jet taking off) thought it was the extractor with the wind etc. Closer inspection it’s the electric shower. I noticed when I turned it on this morn it was already hot (over 40 deg) then cools to heat up again when the water flows. When switched off it then makes the noise which I now liken to a kettle boiling rather than a jet !! It seems possibly that the heating element is coming on randomly/staying on after stopping ?? The model is a bristan glee electric 10.5kw. Been good as gold for 4 years and gets at least 3 uses per day....any ideas folk ? Or am I looking at a new one ??
