Numerous installers got caught out record's showed that they had Inststalled x amount of boilers ;)
I'm not sure whether you are talking about avoiding income tax (not declaring income) or VAT? However, your last post......
See it how u like

VAT is 20%

The tax man got access to build g control certs

I. E every boiler installed has to be registered with building control

The records could indeed show that an installer has fitted dozens of boilers. However, if each of those boilers was bought by the customer then there will be no material cost to the tradesman - i.e. no VAT due from the installer. You seem to be confused about VAT and income tax boyo.

I must be an idiot. Three forum members said so.
That's right you're honest AND your lovely accountants over pay your taxes each year for you out of generosity oh wait..(y)

.
Not declaring income would be evading tax; the illegal one.
Everyone avoids paying more tax than they need by claiming all legal allowances and expenses.

The wealthy are, by the rules specifically written for that purpose, allowed to avoid more than they should.

Over-pay...eh?

My accountants don't pay my taxes, no. I am reasonably honest though. Do you have a problem with honesty?

No i don't but you're reasonably honest, there's a bit of wiggle room there.

Do you have a problem with my opinion?

Paying maximum taxes via an accountant is an Oxymoron.

I'd imagine honest is an example of an absolute modifier in the English language, you're either totally honest (sometimes not the best course of action) or you're not. Not sure you can describe yourself as reasonably honest. Reasonable by who's measure? Yours? Might not be the same as someone else's view as honest.

You could also say you're fairly unique but you'd be incorrect, fortunately everyone's unique.

Anyway FWIW I'm reasonably honest too.

Thankyou my subtle insinuation there but yes agree my point entirely, it almost points to him being honest because of the lack of conviction to insist on the absolute (y)

I don't like embellishment and I am as honest as I dare be on a public forum - i.e. reasonably honest. It would be reasonable for someone not to tell the whole truth on a public forum especially when protecting family privacy for example.

Of course, noted.
