I'm going to use pvc 150mm Barge board. Can I use 4x2 timber for the ladders and end rafter? The overhang will be 150mm so don't see an issue with strength.
I'm going to use pvc 150mm Barge board. Can I use 4x2 timber for the ladders and end rafter? The overhang will be 150mm so don't see an issue with strength.
Even if say we are using 6 by for the main rafters, we always bring the ladders through with 4". It means you can brick up to the 4" noggs then thicken down with a batten this covering any bigger joints and it provides the ideal depth for hollow soffit and a 150mm cap-it fascia.
Always fix your end rafter before bricking under the noggs.
