The statement read out by Cummings

They lost my respect with their three years of calling folks like me a thick idiot for voting to get away from the EU

do you know the impact SpS checks will have on exports of shellfish, lamb and other key UK exports to the EU?

do you know the reason why Tories are so keen on a US trade deal?

do you know what connections this governments key advisor, Matthew Elliot has with the Koch foundation?

why do so many Tory MPs have connections to private healthcare businesses?

for voting to get away from the EU.
you are a Northener, many feel left behind by the ever increasing dominance of London's power and wealth compared to the industrial regions of the North.
Brexit was seen as 'for the people'
sadly Brexit has actually been engineered by the London elite who stand to gain, whilst the North will suffer from a hard Brexit.

And sadly you should have been voting to get away from the Tories not the EU

but you wont change your opinion so we shall have to sit and watch the damage brexit will cause.

it's a funny thing. The nation's Prime Minister says:

"From this evening I must give the British people a very simple instruction - you must stay at home.

Because the critical thing we must do is stop the disease spreading between households.

That is why people will only be allowed to leave their home for the following very limited purposes:

shopping for basic necessities, as infrequently as possible
one form of exercise a day - for example a run, walk, or cycle - alone or with members of your household;
any medical need, to provide care or to help a vulnerable person; and
travelling to and from work, but only where this is absolutely necessary and cannot be done from home.

That’s all - these are the only reasons you should leave your home."

And somehow Ryler and Cummings know it means "stay at home if it suits you, but feel free to drive around the country with your family, even if you believe at least one member to be infected."

Tell me, @Ryler, which are the words saying that?

You turn a blind eye to serious eu corruption.
Impartiality just isn't your thing boyo.

The eu is nothing more than a con.
Set up cunningly by the elites to snare gullible fools like you.

We need to get rid of the corrupt EU elites because we prefer to be ruled by our own corrupt elites.

For me it was the eye sight test drive.
yeah but he deserves credit for the sheer audacity of trying to get away with such a pathetic 'dog ate my homework' excuse.

I bet if you tried out that excuse on your mates you would have the pizz ripped out of you.

that is very true.

It rather explains the failure of the Leave campaigns argument: it is one sided.

Yes the EU has many flaws, but what about the alternative: taking back control to a corrupt Tory govt who want a deal with a corrupt US.

I agree Brexit was cunningly set up to con:

The UK’s leading Brexit right-wing think tanks discuss strategy and tactics at regular monthly meetings that have been attended by Conservative MPs, openDemocracy has learned.
Among those in attendance are the Institute for Economic Affairs (IEA), which has been accused of offering donors access to government ministers and civil servants

So Tories want Brexit purely to make money.

Maybe he has the same eyesight problem as Dominic Cummings.
I am fully aware of EU corruption -I dare say I know far more about it than Ryler, who seems to have little to zero technical knowledge of the workings of the European Union -his posts are not based on reasoned argument
