Floor tiling

Hi

I have lifted old tiles in toilet and noticed that there had been a waste pipe had been added at some point leaving the floor uneven.

I hammered out part of the old floor and new cement laid where pipe had been installed.

I have it as level as I could get it and when I place a tile on it (no adhesive) there is mm in the levels.

Would you put self leveling compound down or when the adhesive is laid the tile will sit perfect?

The tile adhesive will remove any minor imperfections in the floor (as long as it's minor)

Thought so, only minor now I have patched it.

How long would you leave the cement patch before tiling over it?

Until the patch is dry couldn't tell you that as it depends on the depth but at least 24hrs

At deepest would be no more than an 1 inch.

**UPDATE**

I will never use the ready made adhesive again.

and its first class.

I just mixed what I needed as it sets really quick but floor tile have no chance of moving with this stuff.
